SPS Task 4 - Plan of Attack

1. Complete required readings as soon as possible as background for planning and completing the task.

2. As a team, develop a task plan that identifies supplemental investigations and readings needed to meet task objectives and make a schedule for ensuring timely completion of each activity.

3. In this task, your team will develop your initial sales strategy, along with models for revenue. You should keep the company’s limited resources in mind as you define the sales strategy. In particular, you want to hold down the cost of sales as much as possible, recognizing that it is quite expensive to make a sales call at a customer site.

4. Make sure that you address both direct sales and indirect sales opportunities. As you build your revenue model, keep in mind that you will have to share revenues when you sell your products through an indirect channel, and that you may have to discount your official prices to win business.
